With reference to your letter of the 12th inst. enclosing a Requisition for clothing and other Articles required for the use of the Police Force at Hong Kong, I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury to acquaint you that the Board of Ordnance have been instructed to cause the Articles specified therein to be prepared for transmission to Hong Kong. My Lords have desired the Agent General for Transport to make arrangements in communication with the Officers of the Ordnance department, for forwarding the same to the Colonial Government with as little delay as possible.
